Prototyping

MAKING A PROTOTYPE? WHY?

Making a prototype is a very common practice that we recommend because of its many advantages:
– Faster time to market
– Optimised product reliability and performance
– Upstream testing gives you the opportunity to try out a model’s performance

We can offer you several types of prototype. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.

VIRTUAL PROTOTYPING

A virtual prototype is a 3D visualisation of your part, in its final situation and context.

It should be noted that it is possible to assemble several parts virtually in order to perform calculations and simulations of their behaviour in operating and use situations.

REAL PROTOTYPING

As the name suggests, real prototyping involves manufacturing a small quantity of parts for testing.
The objective is thus the same as for virtual prototyping.
It is quite possible to create a physical assembly of several parts, which enables us to carry out the first functional tests in a real context.
Real prototyping is carried out through 3D printing in small and medium sizes.
